There is no known association on these drills as far as I can tell. The best way to find out is to get a battery and see what it fits. The 18v sells for $10-15 all over ebay with a case. My thinking is that they cheaply made with a short battey life and long charge times (known to be 3-5 hours). One good deal I found was a corded hammer drill for 23.99 on Overstock.com
