Peel Away use

I'm removing 3-4 coats and I assume at least 1 coat is lead based. However I want to stain the wood. You said Peel Away 1 was best for lead removal, but that Peel Away 7 was best for finishing natural. WHich should I use for this application?

Also, I stopped in an Ace HW store last night and they carried a small jar of Peel Away, however they did not have the film that goes over it.
