I recently had my bathroom remodeled. My walls are plaster. After removing the tiles from the bottom half of the bathroom walls, they were in such disrepair, that he had to replaster them. Then he coated them with a flat paint. The bathroom looked beautiful, but I preferred a semigloss. I painted over his paint job and the next day I noticed that the paint was peeling a little. I pulled at it and the paint came off the wall in sheets! My new paint job is ruined. I've been told to strip the walls, sand, prime and paint again. Sigh. Can anyone tell me why this happened -- and will it happen again??
