I read that you are going for it - I have done this - just keep cool! And expect every thing to go wrong, and keep cool! Plan for the new plumbing not to fit, and the plumbing store to be out of what you need, or the stores are closed that day! - keep cool! Also, if you are taking putting in a new lighter tub (new tubs are lighter fiberglass) - don't forget that you are going to want to fill in the space with a foam that hardens under the tub to keep it from cracking and shifting - ask a pro how to do this -I ended up highering a neighbor (a pro) to do this part! I did all the rest, but was going out of town, and highered my neighbor to do it - two full weekends it took! Keep Cool! Enjoy the results!
