Of course, that's a lot of work and if it's not sealed off properly, you're going to have a leak. Seems ultimately the way to go, however. And let me ask this while we're on the subject: How long can the vent be, exactly, without putting a strain on the air flow? Does length of the duct even affect the air flow at all? Seems like it would eventually....
