Diane........Glidden Ultra-Hide Gripper Primer - works like a charm! Make sure the walls are clean - prime with Gripper - then two coats of a Glidden Evermore or Ultra-Hide topcoat - and you are all set........
Don't try and remove the paper - it will ruin the drywall - the wallpaper is actually the surface of the drywall - instead of the brown or grey paper that usually covers drywall...
