I have an unused 3 prong Dryer connection in my garage. Can I use this connection for a 230V table saw which has three wire (red, black, green) connection? I think the dryer outlet has two hot and one common connection. However, saw appears to be calling out single phase 230V plus ground. Is this a simple as running saw ground to common?
