I have been reading these other posts and understand the breathe-ability of bricks. The previous owner of my house got a little carried away with caulking and paint. He over-caulked every spot, and splattered paint all over bricks when painting the aluminum siding of the roof overhangs. I tried a spot with Peel-Away, then scrubbed with Goo-gone. The paint and caulk would disappear, but a stain deep in the brick remains. Question is: power spray or muretic acid or what to get residual stain off? Don't want to damage brick, but this sloppy paint must go!
