I have a 1956 ranch home. It appears to at one time had the rolled 4" of fiberglass insulation.
THe insulation is now so old that it has turned the paper dark and I can put my hand right through the material as most of it has turned to dust from exposure to air. Should I remove this stuff or just blow new insulation overtop of it?
