the plug will work but you better check the breaker size copared to the saw amprage if it is to high you must change the breaker to the size of your saw amprage.if the breaker is say a 40 amp breker and yor saw is 50 amps you have to check your wire size to see if you can put a larger breakerin if yhe amprage on your saw is smaller than the ampage of the breaker you can just swap the breaker out and put a new cord on your saw.
