I have a wood stove which I cleaned yesterday and had a fire in last night. This morning I noticed a tar-like substance leaking down the stack from the ceiling enclosure. My questions are:
1. What is this stuff, some kind of sealant?
(Did I have too big a fire?)
2. What do I do about it? (Repair if needed,
clean, etc.)
