About every year or two my main sewer pipe gets clogged , the first sign is always at the washer at it spits out water where the hose fits into the pipe, I always call a plumber and for around $80. he clears the drain, and this time I wanted to rent an electric snake and save some cash. The problem out of all the equipment rentals I called the smallest electric snake is for a 2" pipe and the pipe the plumber always goes through is a 1.5" pipe behind my washer and dryer and the only place I would be able to start also, anyone have any ideas on how the plumber is able to do it and why I can't.
