Oil is definately out. It takes soo long to dry and todays latex paint at Paint Dealers are just as good as oil.
Use a good Kitchen Bath paint that will fullfill the needs and concerns for that room. Consider using a filler paint first that will coat all these blems if they are not too severe.
Staying with a Dealer and with their expertise, you will come out OK.
