Hearing radio signals on a telephone is not all that uncommon. Most "modern" phones have semiconductor devices in them and little or no shielding. Every semiconductor is like a crystal radie; if the signal is strong enough, it may pick it up. Filters or repositioning may help. The FCC has literature available on these sorts of problems as well as the American Radir Relay League. The likelihood of spurious emissions causing the problem is remote.
