Hi, Having been in the seamless gutter buisness for years I have seen all kinds of good ideas and gimicks. An important requirement on any home is to get the high volume of water that comes off the roof and lands next to the foundation(and the hole in the ground your house was built in) significantly far enough away. Rain dispersal systems only moves the water a few inches at best from the original dripline.
A minimum of 4 feet is what is required under normal conditions. A quality seamless gutter system is your best choice. Just find a reputable contractor in your area. (ABC Seamless Gutters has locations all over and is a good choice) Good luck to you.
