Outside Drain to our new sump pump

1)We had our sump pump replaced.
2)The new discharge drain goes up and out of the house; about 3 feet above ground, and is connected to a 10 foot hard plastic pipe drain, that angles down to the ground, away from the house.
3)We've been told that water could freeze in this exposed outdoor drain - - and that isn't good.
4)The area where the drain comes out of the house has a window well to the left, a large ACcondenser in the front and the ground initially slopes slightly towards the house.
5)What's the best way to have the drain flow when outside the house
