I've had enormous sucess by taking the whole cabinet down to Denver Bumper for powder coating. Although I've tried many different colors, the most successful is silver vein, because it hides all the minor flaws and is tougher. Gorgeous results for a 30 year old cabinet that now may last another 30. Much better than any new wood cabinet!
