I have a sewer line exiting my basement about 4 feet higher than the floor level. I currently have a sump pump which lifts the waste water from my washing machine to the sewer line & it works just fine. I'd like to put a bathroom in the basement & am not worried about the sink & tub water, but what can I do about toilet waste getting up 4 feet to the existing sewer line?
