I live in an apartment building and find that the walls and floors are hollow. I have a neighbors below me that like to play their music loud and their tv at a high volumn which pentrates into my apartment. I have wall to wall carpeting and good padding, but I found that this does not block out the noise. What can be done so I do not have to have this noise in the apartment (and I have tried talking to them, but the problem still exists).
Also the bedroom wall that is attached to my next door neighbor is thin. I can hear everything when they are in the room (tv, snoring, answering machine, etc). What can be done to sound proof this wall.
