tomh......not a problem - I appreciate the humor. I also like a good debate/conversation. I like hearing how others would solve problems on here.
I know what you mean about service - I was in Paint Stores for years - and I absolutely loved working the counter - I had so much fun - it was a shame to get paid! You cannot put a price on the service you can get.
Unfortunately - in order to progress and move along - I rarely get the opportunity to work on a paint counter anymore - but I do find that the customers at the big box are just the same as the ones at the Paint Store - interested in good service - some knowledgeable help - someone to chat with briefly.
I am glad that there are big boxes - they are why I have a job - but there will always be need for a paint store - I prefer them myself - and buy my paint - whenever possible at a "paint store"
