Removing the Glue

I've done this quite a bit, its not fun, but you simply have to scrape it off. I think a rental yard will have a heavy duty scraper that takes a razor blade on the front. It will have an adjustable handle about the size of a broom stick, it should work good, but there is NO easy way.
If you could stand the dust and mess, a big floor sander would certainly take it off faster.
