DO NOT glue the planks to the subfloor, the different expansion/contraction rates will cause the planking to separate and split.
Also, I would highly recommend you take any planking to a wood shop and have the tounge and grooves cut in the planks. Minimal cost and makes for a much easier an neater installation.
