Refinishing oak kitchen cabinets

I am considering refinishing my oak kitchen cabinets in place this summer. Cabinets were installed in Nov 93 and are in good shape. My question is: what product do I use to clean the cabinets prior to re-spraying? I had been told that alcohol would do a good job. I intend to remove all doors and spray them in my shop. All framework will be masked and sprayed in place. I have an HVLP spray set-up. Exixting finish is in pretty good shape.
