Jennifer, have we had a bad past experience here...or just the nightmares which follow watching a "kitchy" DIY episode suggesting you finish a surface with something that might look great in a home show booth, but would be a colossal disaster applied in real life?
Frank, in many ways I'd have to say you should heed Jennifer's advice here; when it comes to wood flooring, I wouldn't use something that wasn't originally produced to be used as wood flooring without expecting some future problems.
