We have heard that although Hardy Plank holds up well, it has, at least in the past, caused interior wood to rot, if improperly installed. The Hardy Plank was so impermable that moisture condensed on interior wood. Was this true? Is this still true? We have L-P siding on our house and may have to replace it. We did put anti-fungal paint on the L-P siding and it seems to have stopped the problem at least for now. Thank you.
