We’re finally at the end of 2023! This year there was no shortage of nifty home gadgets and innovative home products that hit the market. And what better way to wrap up the year than highlighting 20 of our favorite home innovations of the year? We were particularly intrigued by the brushless compact riding mower that could trim up to an acre of grass per battery charge, the brushless spring trimmer with 80 percent more runtime, and a multi-purpose gardening tool that could speed through planting a garden three times faster than you might manually.

13. Vitamix launched an electric composter

New in May: Vitamix Eco 5 FoodCycler

Vitamix launched the newest generation of its countertop composter: the Eco 5 FoodCycler. This appliance turns food scraps into compost, helping reduce the amount of waste and unwanted leftovers in the kitchen by 90 percent.
