While these individual smart plugs aren’t necessarily slim, they do have a relatively compact design. We found this to be particularly nice for our crowded coffee bar, where other plugs can get in the way of jars and appliances.

We didn’t have an outlet far enough away from the router to force this smart plug to lose connectivity, meaning its range was pretty impressive. And, like all Kasa Smart devices, it was a breeze to use the app and program this device. We also found a really cool feature that allows this plug to switch its outlets automatically, letting the user swap controlled devices without physically unplugging and replugging the devices.
