Rustic Outdoor Boot Rack
Stop snow and slush in its tracks with this blogger's simple yet striking outdoor boot rack.

While winter’s snowy scenes are beautiful to observe, the watery, muddy residue they can leave behind on your floors is much less so. In an effort to minimize the mess, blogger Stephanie Lynn of Under the Table and Dreaming designed a wooden boot rack that can house winter footwear and allow boots and snow shoes to dry out—without tracking the outdoors inside.

Stephanie Lynn used a variety of wood boards cut to size to form the dowel rails, base boards, and foot boards. She used a 2-inch hole saw to craft the circular cuts for the dowels to fit into. After attaching each of these pieces together, Stephanie Lynn cut the dowels to the proper height (some tall to house adult shoes, other small to accommodate little ones) and secured them into the cut holes. The finishing touch was a few coats of stain to give this outdoor organizer a little pop of personality.
