Gonna sound weird, but read an article that this makes for great ice melt on surfaces that easily damage with regular ice melters. I mix it 2-to-1 water and alcohol in a spray bottle and spray on slick surfaces. Works practically instantly! Had a huge pile of snow fall off my roof in front of our door. It had packed so hard, it was impossible to shovel. Used my premixed spray on the top of the pile and let it sit for awhile. Went back out and it had literally turned to slush and was so easy to shovel. Unusual use for alcohol, but it worked great!

It works exactly as I would expect it to. I only gave a four star rating because of the price. I feel it was double the price on the 91% and is not a great deal. When I'm working with electronics, this high quality IPA, or Isopropyl Alcohol, is on my workbench or close to it. I always use it to clean everything up before I start and then again when I finish.

It's especially important to use a high quality IPA with electronics like PCBs, Printed Circuit Boards, because it dissolves oils, adhesives, soldering flux, residues, fingerprints, and other contaminants.

It leaves no oils or traces and it evaporates quickly in spaces above 60 degrees Fahrenheit due to its alcohol-to-water ratio of 91%.

This Isopropyl Alcohol 91% is anyone that uses a soldering irons best tool.
