AI-generated from the text of customer reviews
Customers are satisfied with the quality of the wrench. They mention that it is a good tool, it gets the job done, and is of good quality. Some say that the adjustability of the screw is sloppy. Overall, customers are happy with their purchase and recommend it to others.
"...] I had an older Stanley wrench like this and lost it, it works great when you’re in a tight spot or only have one hand available...." Read more
"...The quality level is better than I expected given my last few vise grip purchases and it is easier to use than traditional vise grips because it can..." Read more
"...That's what I bought it for, and it works well. But I expect to use it very rarely...." Read more
"This is a larger wrench than I wanted, but it definitely gets the job done. I like that it functions as both a crescent wrench and a vise-grip...." Read more
Customers are satisfied with the grip of the wrench. They mention that it grips very well, and does not slip off a fastener. They also appreciate that it does not fall off the joint the moment they let go. Customers also say that it is better than traditional vice grips, and is the kryptonite to stubborn fasteners.
"...Big advantage, of course, it doesn't fall off the joint the moment you let go!..." Read more
"...The rubberized handle is an upgrade from my last one and gives you a little extra grip and also doesn’t jab into your hand when applying pressure" Read more
"...This wrench solves all such problems. It cannot slip off a fastener during spirited use and is perfect for holding a fixed shoulder while breaking..." Read more
"This wrench is the kryptonite to stubborn fasteners. Its superior grip makes even rounded-off bolts tremble, and its flexible jaw tackles odd angles..." Read more
Customers appreciate the value of the wrench. They say that you can't beat the price.
"Nice for the price" Read more
"...It's versatile, easy to use, and grips very well. And you really can't beat the price." Read more
"...Great price worth the money!" Read more
"...impressed but does have merit in certain applications but the price was low. Use them a couple of times so far." Read more
Customers are mixed about the adjustability of the wrench. Some mention that it combines the best of a traditional adjustable wrench with a mole grip, and works like a regular adjustable wrench. They like that it functions as both a crescent wrench and a vise-grip. However, others say that the adjustment is imprecise, the vise grip is more unstable than a normal adjustable wrench, and the adjustment spindle is loose.
"...It combines the best of a traditional adjustable wrench with a mole grip...." Read more
"Good tool but the adjustability of the screw is sloppy, and ten to sized up, the craftman one is much better" Read more
"...to use than traditional vise grips because it can be fully and easily adjusted 1 handed." Read more
"...I like that it functions as both a crescent wrench and a vise-grip. I've used it a lot, and haven't had any issues...." Read more
Customers are mixed about the adhesion of the wrench. Some mention that it's a great tool that locks onto a bolt or nut, no slipping. However, others say that it doesn't lock in place like it'd be supposed to, no matter how much they tighten it on. The helix is so loose it always loosens, and the mouth and internal gear still wiggle loosely.
"...Appears to be well made but it tends to loosen after several turns on the same nut...." Read more
"...No longer is there any slop & it eliminated bolt-rounding unless you're REALLY trying to do so...." Read more
"...I go to put them in and neither one will screw in...." Read more
"...This one, the jaw stayed put while holding the head of the bolt and using an impact driver on the nut (removing front wheel of zero turn mower)...." Read more
Customers are mixed about the ease of use of the wrench. Some mention it's versatile, easy to use, and grips very well. They say it'll do the job alone with no fuss. However, others say that the grip was nearly not as strong, the portion works ok, but the vice grip part puts little pressure on the nut, and it'd be tough to hold in the lever.
"...to apply before engaging the mole grip, and thereafter it is simple to use and no fuss...." Read more
"...I bought a regular wrench and the grip was nearly not as strong, I had to return it...." Read more
"...given my last few vise grip purchases and it is easier to use than traditional vise grips because it can be fully and easily adjusted 1 handed." Read more
"...And it's pretty tough to hold in leverBut a robust and sturdy tool" Read more
Customers are disappointed with the execution of the wrench. They mention that it's a decent idea, but it'll not work well.
"...After several rotations it gets a bit frustrating. Pretty much the same as a normal adjustable wrench...." Read more
"Yes it adjusts and yes it “locks” in place but does so poorly. You’re not going to be able to use much torque with this and not expect it to slip...." Read more
"It not a good tool. the adjustment spindle is loose and comes undone quickly after tightened ." Read more
"Decent idea, poor execution..." Read more
Customers are disappointed with the weight of the wrench. They mention it's pretty heavy, the extra bulkiness of the clamp further limits the convenience of use, and it'd be better suited for a smaller handle.
"...The best features of both tools. Well made and durable. It’s pretty heavy, but that just means they used enough steel." Read more
"...Makes for an overly bulky and heavy wrench." Read more
"...The extra bulkiness of the clamp further limits the convenience of use...." Read more
"...Feels light weight and cheaply made." Read more

I do still need my smaller crescent wrenches, though, because this one is too big for some jobs, like when you need to get TWO wrenches into place to lock down a jam-nut.

IT DOESN'T LOCK!
I assume the locking mechanism is supposed to push adjusting wheel and hold it tight.
That is the way it's supposed to work.
In reality, the pusher is pushed up (not sliding sideway to push the wheel) and gets stuck against the upper wall of the channel.
What else to say, it's going back where it came from.
