Metallic Gold paint is oil based!
I didn’t realize when I ordered that it was an oil based paint. It wasn’t an issue for my project, but for some I’m sure it could cause problems. Just keep that in mind, I’m assuming it’s the same for the silver and bronze ones as well.Pros: Good price for the amount. Easy to use even for an oil based paint, if you stir it enough it almost becomes acrylic consistency. Does have a nice sheen in the light and actually looks like gold.Cons: Very runny, will need multiple coats to get it to look gold. It was almost sheer with the first coat and it scared me. Takes a while to dry even without the multiple coats. I was only doing detailing but if you have a large area you’ll probably need multiple cans.

Easy, one coat on most surface for this project (primed). Fast dry and great finish. (Not sure pictures do justice to finished product here). High yield. I used 2, 8 ounce cans to do stairs and 20 ft railing across.
My goal was to just clean the dated stairs up and replace at a later date. Now they’re a focal point and everyone who visits comments on how nice they look, like new updated brushed satin look. Doesn’t make phase 2 of project, replacing ugly carpet on stairs a huge priority.

I had never used this paint before but I was not disappointed. I wanted to refinish a set of night stands in a silver/mirror decor. I found this paint online and de idea to give it a try. It covered both pieces easily and quickly. I did paint them first with a gray paint before adding the silver. It took less than a 1/2 qt to cover them both a day it gave me the exact look I wanted. I will say that it isn't an acrylic paint but a latex paint and requires paint cleaner in order to clean brushes, etc. It also takes awhile to dry and cure.

I bought this paint for my project. I painted two tables. I used a sprayer. And the paint is not bad. I don’t know how long it will last. I will write an update. Easy to use. Sprays well. So far only pluses. And I really like the color, that it’s matte. Good price too.

Pour les pattes du bain, résultat impeccable. Sur surface lisse, comme une poignée ou le tire-chasse, l’aspect est moins net. Il y a des reflets et cela peut aussi plaire, selon le look souhaité. Attention: mettre des gants et jeter votre pinceau car j’ai rincé à l’eau et j’ai tout sali… Juste prévoir.
