This is probably the best primer I’ve ever used. It has plenty of filling properties to it. I used it on a guitar and put on about 3 coats of it. It fill in a lot of imperfections. Once I sanded it level the imperfections where gone. It also gets hard as a rock surprisingly. This is going to be my go to primer for finishing guitars for now on. You still need a wood sealer underneath it.

This is one of the best primers I've ever used in a spray can. It has great bonding to any surface material, awesome build up properties to level off those small scratches, is self leveling and Sands beautifully wet or dry. What I like about the black is you can see very easily where you missed sanding before you start painting. A lot easier than White or Grey primers to notice. I used it under a silver metallic on aluminum rims and it covered perfect. Consider I've also used 2K primer in a can and would take this over that whenever possible. Did an especially nice job on plastic to fill the deeper scratches. SEM makes a great product, worth every penny of extra money.

The primer is very good; dries quickly covers and fills well, sands well. Unfortunately, 2/3 cans I purchased I couldn't use as the nozzles kept clogging. I kept cleaning them but would get barely 1-2 seconds of spray before they blocked again. I tried swapping nozzles thinking maybe it was just a nozzle issue but it was not. The other can I used completely with no nozzle blockage. Ended up having to use a different primer that I picked up locally which wasn't as good but it did come out of the can to finish the job.

One can is enough for the hood of a car, or the top of a mid-sized sedan. I did 50% overlap, plus some extra attention to edges, and a few early layers for some deeper scratches. It dries nicely. Wet sanded with 600 grit, and it looked the same, minus the insect and random specks. The finish was perfect. It stuck very well to metal, filler, and residual paint. The new top coat stuck very well to this, and looked great. Honestly, this flowed better than the topcoat. This stays put with any of the types of paints and primers I've thrown on top.

Most importantly, it does not drip from the nozzle. The fan is nice, and I don't have to worry about special handling when priming flat surfaces.

There are enough solids in this that it fills and builds well. It's better than the grey high-build and enamel filler primers I've used as far as hiding stray 120 grit swirls. But it's a primer, not a filler. If you have any gouges, dents, chips, etc, you should dress those prior to priming.

It's expensive. I know, yea im talking to you reading my review. It's expensive but when you want to make sure your body work is flawless and want something to fill in the small gaps in the body work, this stuff is it! Used it on a molded wide body trunk and it came out perfect because of this stuff. Allows you to see the highs and low spots in your work and fills in the rest. Worth every cent and make sure you get every scent out of it lol.
