Not quite as described in Operator's Manual
I just received this Hammer Drill and have not yet put it to full use. What I have discovered so far is that the Lock-On Button does not quite work as described. To quote the manual: "It allows you to continuously operate the drill at a preset RPM without holding down the trigger switch". Not quite factual. You can only do this at maximum RPM and not at any preset lower speeds. The reason for this is apparently because to operate the drill continuously - as in my drill press shown on photo - you must "pull the trigger switch back fully, depress the Lock-on button and release the trigger". That, of course, means maximum RPM.I will add an update once I have put this drill to use.UPDATE: I have discovered that this drill cannot be securely clamped to a drill press because the collar used for that purpose has a tapered surface. This could cause the drill to loosen during use and thus risk an injury. Consequently I have returned the drill.
