What is the clamp load? What is the clamping pressure or force?
The clamps can handle materials up to 18” in either a horizontal or a vertical position. The clamps can provide a maximum force of up to 300 lbs.
Is the Pegasus compatible with the Worx Clamping Sawhorses?
Yep. It’s the same height as both the Worx Clamping Sawhorse, and the Worx Sidekick. They all have the same joiners so you can lock a few together and create quite a functional worktable.
Does it come pre-assembled?
Yes. It’s designed to be compact and easy to store, so that makes it easy to ship, too. The Pegasus is ready to go right out of the box.

This review is specifically for those who are debating Keter vs Worx. Keter leg broke after four years (no misuse, no idea how it happened). The way the legs folded always seemed a bit jinky, but it was a solid table and as a home DIYer, it got used a lot. I would have been fine buying a new leg and installing it, but not possible. Their warranty was 5 years, pro-rated. I got $10. So I decided to try the competitor. Worx' warranty is three years, repair or replace.
The two tables are similar, with similar clamping systems (Worx has 4 extra tabs making it a bit more configurable). However, the Worx table has some distinct advantages. It opens faster to a sturdy setup. There is no reach under to lock it, as with the Keter (which didn't always stay locked). The base being saw horse style, not the jinky swinging legs, seems much more solid. Each of the two sides can swing down for use at an angle. Not sure how I would use that feature, other than to make it narrower to use in a smaller space. There are also some recessed compartments on on folding side. Pencil, screws, bolts, are less likely to scatter to the four winds if the table gets bumped.
Folding down may be a hair more complicated, having to press two clips on each side to drop those sides, but that lends to it being sturdier open, IMO. The one slight drawback is the lack of a handle on the Worx table. But, tucking it under my arm and carrying it by the drop side isn't bad. In fact, being 5'6", it actually makes it a bit easier to carry around.
All in all, these are plastic work tables for a little over $100 (Keter was $50 at Costco 4+ years ago, $109 now on Amazon, gotta love inflation). Both are far more mobile and usable than the Black and Decker metal table with the pressboard tops I had before the Keter. Is the Worx worth the extra $30? My first impression is yes. It will take five years to really know.

I then found the Pegasus here on an Amazon search and after reading a lot of reviews, decided to try this one. It is quite sturdy and simple to move (40 lbs). I easily learned to use the small dogs in various place and have used the clamps on both sides of the table (a great feature). And by the way, the clamps actually do work all over the table and on sides for those vertical boards that need special care. Those folks who claim the clamps don't work on other parts of the table are full of "crap"! The clamps work great! Maybe they don't do it right? The little holder spaces hold screws, drill bits, oscillator blades, etc. Very convenient. And the table below holds my cell phone (in a plastic bag), the bottle of wood hardener, woody's cans of epoxy, my oscillator, rags, etc. I did attach a power strip on one side as an option, and that is very convenient also. In fact I like this handy helper so much that I bought it's Sidekick, also by Worx on sale here on Amazon. It helps to hold the 16' boards so I can cut and sand easily. And it is so light and portable too. Although it appeared flimsy, the framing is light and very very strong. And they attach together. Such a clever system.
All in all, I am in love with my little Pegasus Workbench. I plan to take it to southern Maine with me for another project in the summer because I can. I'd give it 10 stars if that were possible. It has enabled a senior in her 2nd childhood to be creative and have fun in a safe way. Job Very Well Done by Worx!!
Alas, I had to give up the shop and move into a very nice home that had an over-sized one-car garage.
So, I needed to plan my space carefully in order to continue my woodworking and woodturning hobby, while ensuring that we could get our vehicle into the garage.
The solution was two-fold. Fist, I either purchased portable options or put everything: storage units, band saw, lathe, bench grinder, crosscut saw and table saw on castors. I even crafted my "vertical dust collection" system to store my air compressor, Shop Vac and Oneida Dusty Deputy in a solution that takes up only 24" of square space.
But, I still needed ample workbench, which is fulfilled by a Trinity stainless steel and bench top solution, purchased at Costco, a Workmate unit and this Pegasus folding table.
I am happy to report that my space-challenged solution serves me well, in part because of this folding work table.
It's easy to set up, sturdy and includes two, integrated clamps.
I highly recommend for every woodworking hobbyist. I'm considering purchasing another, which will take up minimal space and easily attaches.
