Install on Your Own
Installing Indow window inserts is a quick and easy DIY. Measuring and ordering them is a simple process (you can learn more about it here) that does not require hiring or coordinating with anyone for measuring or installation. Once the window inserts arrive you just gently press them into the window frame. The compression tubing along the sides of the inserts ensures a snug fit without causing damage to the area when you install or remove them.

Reap the Benefits
Indow window inserts have benefits beyond energy savings. In addition to blocking drafts, they’re excellent at blocking outside noises. The window inserts dampen outside sounds by at least 50 percent when placed over a single-pane window and 70 percent when an acoustic grade Indow window insert is used.
They’re also a good alternative to window replacements. Indow window inserts are significantly cheaper than the cost of new windows and installation. They preserve the design of the home—especially significant for homeowners with old houses that have historic windows—while upgrading the energy efficiency of it.
