I need help, suggestions or both. I have windows on front and rear on my home that are pleasing architecturally, but they let in way too much heat and light. Especially during winter months, the light shining through creates a blinding glare on the hardwood. Is there a replacement window that would keep the good looks but help the heat and light issues? It's a cedar house with wooden window frames which from what I can tell, are in not so good of shape. I'm trying to avoid just slapping some window treatments up, it'd be hard to reach and likely take away from the looks I'd imagine. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
