warped interior wood door
I purchased an unfinished solid mahogany door with leaded glass center panel a couple years ago, but didn't get around to installing it until recently (not a priority project). Although I thought I had stored it well, it is now warped out of plumb a little over an inch from top to bottom on the outside edge. It is a beautiful door, and I am kicking myself that I didn't hang it sooner. I thought about soaking it with hot water and trying to clamp it in the other direction, but I don't want to ruin it further. Is there any hope to correct the warp, at least to some degree?
