I am looking to buy a house that has a well. No one knows where the well is including a well-drilling company that the sellers hired to find it. Broker thinks I am making a big deal out of this. !!! Every idea I have come up with has failed. Any advice?
(How is it possible for a well pump to perform for decades without failure?!!!)

You should contact the local board of health. They should have something on file showing where the well is located. Depending on the type of well, either the well head is buried, or their could be a concrete cover that will allow access to it. It is very important to know where the well is!
