Are there any groups (like ANSI or ASTM) that have evaluated the actual effectiveness of various sealers that are supposed to prevent transmission of radon through concrete walls and floors. Companies all make claims, but if there were a standard we could all reference life would be better. DryLok states that it reduces radon. RadonSeal states "Restricts the infiltration of soil gasses through concrete capillaries and pores." That is general as well. Radon Seal has a Radon Guarantee that is a little better: "RadonSeal will aid to reduce and/or keep the indoor radon level below the EPA Action Limit of 4 pCi/L". But there is no standard referenced to determine the real effectiveness
