Bob, we bought a house that is a major fixer upper. Everything is going well, except this massive overgrowth of English ivy. We read your article on how to remove it, and let’s just say there are roots 1.5” thick so it didn’t work great. We’ve pulled up a lot but know there are still roots left we don’t see. We don’t want to plant anything until the ivy stops growing back, but don’t want ground erosion while playing the waiting game either. What do you suggest at this point? We live in West Tennessee if that helps.

Thanks so much!

Bob doesn't answer these questions, they are answered by other readers. I suppose there are readers named Bob so maybe I'm wrong. You would get a better answer from Steve anyway.
