Help! I used double sided tape (those white foam squares) to put cork board up on my kitchen wall. The cork board is falling down, but that tape is sticking really well... too well. I cannot get it off of my walls for the life of me. I have tried the dental floss technique...not working. Have been using a scraper... getting some off, leaving a lot behind. I currently have 72 of these little suckers on my wall... I just want the misery to end... Have any ideas? Please help

You could try alcohol. It might disolve the glue. If that doesn't work look for a product called goo gone.

I've used the gentle heat from a hair dryer to soften the grip of the adhesive.........doug

Thanks Doug! The hair dryer worked great! You are a DIY genius!!! Will try the alcohol as a follow up for the remaining residue.

Depending on wall surface, the residue will come off with WD40. If all else fails, laquer thinner.
