My son decided on his bedroom colours and picked red for one wall at front of house. After afew days the colour started getting white patches so I went over it again only to get same problem come back. I went and bought a different make of red paint repainted it and still the white marks have come through. What can I do to stop this happening.

Why white patches appear?
it's a strange thing.
you should use high-quality paint.
what is the previous paint company name?
I think its a low-quality that's why its results are not better

Lightly sand the wall and apply Kills primer then buy quality paint. You bought the cheap stuff but it will cost you more in the long run not only in money but in time as well.

I wonder if you didn't prime first areas of the wall that you spackled or patched up?
