The top half of our refridgerator and freezer are not cold. (It is a Side by Side). We were thinking that is was the thermostat and would like to check it but we do not know where the thermostat is. We do not own the manual for this fridge. Any advise would be appreciated.

I can't think of what would cause only the top parts of those section to be a greatly different temperature than the lower as the all the air in each of the sides should be the roughly the same.

Maybe you can look into an air flow problem (blocked air duct between the fridge and freezer compartments, fan in freezer not turning properly, produce blocking air flow, etc.).

I like to have the manuals to my appliances etc. Any house I have moved into I just look up the number for the company and they will usually send you a manual free of charge. I have ordered about five from variuous companies and I think the only one that charged me was ***** for a rinding lawn mower.
