We recently purchased a home with the black glasstop stove. Pasta boiled over and I cannot get it clean with the "cleaner/polish" that they left for us. Can someone give me some asvice on how to clean this thing or recommend a product to use. Thank you very much!

If residue stuck on the surface, it can be scraped off with a razor blade scraper (see the following link) and then polished.

If the stain is in the glass itself, I don't know of anything that will clean it if the cleaner doesn't work. In such a case, if the appearance is unacceptable to you, the glass top (or the whole range) may have to be replaced ($$$+).

Any spillage should be cleaned up right away.
