I would appreciate anyone who can help me. Had to take doors of Amana SXD26VW fridge. I didn't watch the movers and there seems to be an extra wire to hook up the wires that go through the freezer door hinge (on the top). There is a four wire with plug, single wire with plug...Those I've got, but there are two other wires and I don't know where they go. There is one on that has a sort of bolt that a screw goes through and another pink one just sort of floating about...Can you help me. The parts diagram thing online does not have this hook up info.

2/the water hose that goes up through the inside of the door came oout of the door. I can't get it back up through the hole and don't know how to attach anyway. Could I still hook up the water to the back of fridge for icemaker and forget the water? I just don't want water all over my floor. Is it easy to get the water hose up in there?

** there are two other wires and I don't know where they go. **

Sorry but someone might need to check the appliance's wiring diagram to see what they might be for. I myself can't think of anything besides maybe optional equipment (door heater, etc.) not found on your model.

I haven't replaced the door's tubing on that model myself but sometimes that tubing is inserted from the dispenser mechanism down.

That might be possible if any loose wires are safely terminated to avoid possible shocks or worse.

That should only happen if the water valve on the back of the fridge received power. If the dispenser wasn't electrically connected that shouldn't occur. The wiring to the water dispenser side of the fridge's fill valve could also be removed to make certain... provided any loose wires were safely terminated to avoid possible shocks or worse.
