I am looking to add on a 32x24 ft attached garage to my home in Muskegon MI and I had a few questions for all of you.

1. Do you tie into the home structure, using the existing studs, or do you build a separate wall and join the two?

2. What cost per foot or yard would you use to estimate the cost of the concrete - digging and all.

Thanks for your help.

You can probably use the existing stud wall to tie into but you must keep in mind an attached garage has to be separated from the house by a UL rated fire rated wall.

As for the price/sq. ft. for the concrete; the price will fluctuate a greatly across the country and will also depend on the type of concrete used, thickness of the concrete, amount of excavation required, stone base, accessibility for the concrete trucks, etc. Generally speaking I would figure $3-$4 per square foot.
