We recently had a new home built. Our dining room had an optional pillar that we did not purchase. The chandelier is centered in the room in relation to that pillar.
As a result, the chandelier falls about 1.5 feet to the left of where we need it to be. Is there any inexpensive DIY fix for this?
If not, how big of a deal would it be to have a contractor move the light box? Any sense of what we are looking at in terms of cost?
