I hav an angle cabinet that fits into the middle where the two wall meets,on both side I have two smaller cabinets I have crownmolding to put on but I cannot get the right cut on the molding because when I put the molding on the side cabinets I could not open the door on the angle cabinet because the molding was overlapping in front of the door pleas help me with this problem so I can finish my kitchen.I had 3 contractor take a look at it but could not figure out how to cut the molding so that door can open . thank you for helping

You often have to add a nailing strip to the top of the cabinets and then apply the crown molding directly to the nailing strip so that doors will open properly.

Some cabinet models do not allow crown molding to be fastened directly to the top of the cabinet above the doors because there just isn't enough room.
