About 15 years ago, my tub was glazed. Over the years, most of the glazing has come off. What can I use to get the rest of it off? I'm hoping that there is some product out there to remove the rest of the old glaze, but I've been looking and can't find anything yet.

Some type of liquid stripper maybe? look for one that does ceramic/porcelain. You might try an auto supply that removes car paint. That suff is pretty violtale so make sure you avoid breathing the fumes.

Complete waste of time.

Get a new tub.

Stripping the old 'glaze' is worthless.

"re-glazing" is simply a coat of paint. have the tub re-painted, the new paints are much better than the first generation applications...costs around 200. much cheaper than a new tub assuming the tub is in otherwise good condition. erik
