I have an American Standard faucet that is leaking. When I close the hot and coldshut off valves, it still drips. When the faucet handle is closed, the water drips from the bottom of the sink (through the holes that the water pipes pass) as well as from the faucet. This is a 5 year old condo that I just purchased 3 weeks ago. I didn't notice the dripping earlier, but I don't think it was doing it before. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Might be time for some new valves? Meanwhile locate the main shut-off valve for your unit. It's commonly found before or after (or both) by the water meter. If you shut this valve to do repairs on faucets, you will need to drain down by opening a faucet lower then where you are working.
